National Insurance Broker International Excess opens Agriculture Business Insurance Division.

This new Agribusiness division will focus on crop insurance as well as farm and livestock insurance. Chuck Gabel, Divisional Vice President of International Excess Agribusiness, has specialized in crop insurance and farm insurance for 20+ years. Chuck was born and raised on a dairy and grain farm in Northwest, Ohio. Chuck later took over and grew the family farm operation, while at the same time sitting on the board of a local farmer’s mutual insurance carrier. Chuck understood the needs of farmers and in turn was in a position to help them understand how crop insurance and hail insurance could protect their revenues. Chuck later sold his farming operation and spent the next years specializing in agriculture insurance and crop insurance. Chuck Gabel says, “Insurance for Agribusiness has become my full-time passion and I’m working to give the farming industry the protection they deserve.”

Retail agents can now not only write farms and crop insurance but will now have the expertise to grow an entire book of agriculture insurance business.
